Highlights der Physik and MINT-Festival 2025

Our contributions to both popular and highly visited exhibitions

Published:

From 15th to 22nd September, the Highlights der Physik in the Goethe Galerie Jena took place, and in parallel, from 16th to 18th September, the fourth MINT Festival was hold in the university buildings at the Abbe Platz in Jena. Happily we took the chance to contribute to both!

Highlights der Physik / Physics Highlights 2025

Among the physics highlights, our Ö1 project "Science Communication in NOA" presented the first showcase for optics research. It consists of a screen that offers space for a digital poster, slide show and a QR code to the original publication, as well as a glass display case with the light box that houses the exhibit. Ö1 presented the analog experiment developed for quantum imaging, which will soon be used in the school laboratory and will become part of the "LichtLabor" (Light lab) of the German Optical Museum, here in Jena.

Interested parties not only had the opportunity to gain exciting insights into the basics of quantum imaging, but also to try out the analog experiment on site. Right next to the optics research showcase, visitors were able to try out the first interactive stations of the German Optical Museum.

MINT Festival 2025

At the MINT Festival, we enjoyed the interest in our science as well. The fascination of our guests throughout the ages was visible with ease. The icing on the cake were all the teachers approaching us to learn more about what we were presenting and how to take their impressions and ideas back into the class rooms.

We are happy to see you next time!
